fun and quick fish mobile

at my house we are doing the summer of art. i'm happy to do as many art projects as my kiddos want to do because one of my old jobs was... an art teacher for kids. yay! and i have a basket full of great projects. today we got the basket out of the closet (4 days until summer, but we are getting an early start.) and they picked this one as the first. it's super easy and quick.

first, draw a big fish and three baby fish. then have the kids color. if they are old enough they can draw the fish themselves.

 then cut all four fish out.

 tape a string down the back.

 hang.

 and admire. cute, fun, quick. not messy. perfect after breakfast project!
